EF Certificate in Teaching Teenagers

The Teaching Teens course will show you how to better teach your Trail Blazer and Front Runner classes by giving you the practical knowledge and tools to understand your teenage learners, adapt activities that are appropriate for this age group, and reflect on what actually works in the classroom. In the coming weeks you will:

• Conduct a needs analysis to identify the needs, motivations, and preferences of one group of teen learners to see how they differ from younger learners.

• Analyze the appropriacy of tasks for teen learners and practice strategies for keeping teens engaged in class.

• Apply what you have learned by adapting, teaching, and reflecting upon a classroom activity that appeals best to your teen learners.
